About Me:
Rev. Bokyoung Park's research focuses on leadership in mission and gender issues within South Korean churches. Especially, she hopes to share the hidden stories of Korean women missionaries and leaders. Park also shares interest in the formation of holistic evangelical missiology.
Park continues to be an active member of the Korean Society of Mission Studies (KSMS). She served as the executive secretary for KSMS between 2012-2013. Park is also an executive member of Asia Lausanne Committee for World Evangelization and central committee member of Korean Lausanne Committee. She is currently the Asian Representative and Vice-President of International Association for Mission Studies (IAMS).
Reverand Park hosted various international conferences, including the Asian Church Leaders Forum (ACLF) in 2013 and the 2016 IAMS Seoul conference. She has also presented at the World Council of Church's Busan Assembly (Madang Program) in 2013 and the Council for World Mission Evangelism Consultation (Asia Regional Conference) in 2005.
Park is currently a professor of missiology at Presbyterian University and Theological Seminary (PUTS), which is located in Seoul, South Korea.
